Day 16–30/30 Challenge

Crockpot meals

This didn’t happen today.  Instead we went to Buffalo Wild Wings! They have awesome low carb no sugar choices.  We ate the veggie platter plus the wings that are mild/parmesan garlic because they have very few carbs or sugar!  We did not eat the pita bread.  We used Ranch!

Working out

Yes this happened!!  My friend Krystal did a full 20 minutes on the elliptical today! WOO HOO!!  I added one minute to my time for a total of 12 minutes on the elliptical.  I also walked/jogged 30 minutes on the treadmill.  We avoided the arc machine today I will admit !

I made this video of Krystal and I at the gym.  My first attempt at a Vine video.  It’s how I feel on most days!

Can’t follow emotions though.  If I did…I would never work out!

 

30 Minutes of Bible Study

Matthew 6:27 says

“And who of you by worrying and being anxious can add one day to his life?”

 Trying to embrace this one!!

 

30 Minutes of House Cleaning

Krystal has been helping me to get the house organized.  Curtains got hung! A toilet seat replaced! New shelves to organize the kids toys!

Things are moving in the right direction!

That food looks DELISH! I have had issues with chicken since surgery so I haven’t had wings in a long time, but now I want them! :)
You keep inspiring me every day to kick up the exercise, I am still super scared of the Arc machine- but hope to add it in sometime soon.
I hope you know how much you have inspired me throughout my journey! Thank you so much!!!

Ah, you truly are inspiration, and absolutely right that we don’t have to “feel” it to do it. Just do it. I seem to have this survival mechanism that wants to conserve energy. I feel fantastic after I work out, and most of that is because I have gotten the victory over my own self-destructive negative lazy thoughts that would rather sit around than get sweaty. So that’s what I’m working on: doing it anyway! No matter what!

I started Planet Fitness last month my first time joining a gym. Last night was my first attempt at the arc machine I did 5 mins at 20 resistance it kicked my butt lol.

Your kids are stinkin cute! And just so you know this is how I start my day before heading out to work. I work in a stressful intensive care unit, this just puts me in the right frame of mind to continue my journey…..Robin
