Be Inspired Sunday: The Anti-Jared

February 19, 2012 in Uncategorized

There are some inspiring people out there.  People who have lost tremendous amounts of weight and kept it off. I am inspired when I read stories of those who have climbed to the top.  What I love is when they don’t just stand there celebrating their own victory but instead reach a hand down and start helping to pull the rest of us up the slope.  Like a runner who crosses the finish line first and immediately starts cheering for the others who are still running the race.

There is one blog I read regularly about a guy who lost over 200 pounds.  But today I was moved by a post he wrote that had nothing to do with losing weight.  It was, however, about losing someone.  Losing a piece of your heart.

He said he blogged about this for all the people it would help.  He didn’t want others to feel alone.  It’s called “The Butterfly”.  I hope it touches you the way it touched me!

Wow, what a blog you have! So glad you found mine, and after seeing your comment on mine I had to see yours… very inspirational. I'm pushing 300 pounds, 42 and unhealthy, and to know there are people facing weight issues and doing something about it is simply amazing to me… will be following you along your journey now!
